03.05.09 - SEM Vinyl/Carpet Dye - 9 months later |
|
- Dye held up well on top of seats, door panels, and arm rests
- Did not work well on actual seats
- Possible reasons for failure
- Bad prep
- did not use SEM soap or SEM prep solution
- Maybe seat material can not be dyed
- has a plastic-like/nylon sheen

03.03.09 - Valve Cover Clean Up & Design ideas |

- Decided to use 'customized' Mercruiser valve cover, may purchase Offenhauser cover at a later date (expensive).
- Removed Mercruiser stickers and started sanding
- Came up with preliminary design for logo
- Logo will be acid etched into an aluminum plate, then attached to valve cover

03.01.09 - Rear End cleaned up and painted |

- Found a 1965 Nova rear end with 3.08 gears
- Degreased rearend and gave it a coat of paint
- Gears will be swapped out for 3.55s eventually

02.21.09 - Decicision made on rims - rims located |
|
- Decided to go with OE Style Rims. Will paint them black and try both hubcaps and bolt on Shannon Cones
- Rims Sizes
- Front 14 x6, 3.5" backspace
- Rear 15 x 7, 4.5" backspace
- Will order Shannon Cones in a few weeks
- Rims tested with calipers for fit
