Finished fabricating fuel pump bracket

• Painted Fuel Pump Bracket

• Ordered: EPDM Rubber for vibration dampening (fuel pump bracket), closed cell foam to seal radiator to radiator core, misc hardware
• Researched options for Electric Fans

Worked on v-belt alignment between BBC water pump pulley, alternator and damper

• Researched options for 110 Amp, 1-wire Alternator

• Fuel pump bracket - fabricated top plate for inside trunk, cut EPDM Rubber for vibration dampening
• Fuel Pump Bracket: 2nd coat of paint, new hardware

• Alternator: Converted to 110 Amp and 1 Wire, sandblasted then painted black

Worked on modifying core support so radiator sits further from engine
• Core support modifications

• Mocked up electric fan fitment (Perma-Cool 19120)

• Started looking at different options for different radiator/fan combos. Current setup will require fan, radiator, and core support to be installed as a unit.

• Purchased Holley throttle linkage bushing and barbed fuel inlet

• Researched more radiator and fan combo options

• Started the search for a 700R4 torque converter

• Researched more radiator and fan combo options

• Removed driveshaft & powerglide tranny

•Got 700R4 in tranny tunnel and bolted to engine, but was not able to bolt it up crossmember


• Ordered new radiator

• Sold old radiator

• Moved engine and tranmission forward in engine bay to figure out crossmember problems. Crossmember hits floor and will not work.
• Researched tranny crossmember problem with Bowtie Overdrives and CPP
• Returned old 700R4 Crossmember

• Purchased new 700R4 Crossmember


• Installed new crossmember - does not it the floor

• Tried to install new radiator - it is NOT a direct fit/replacment
